Summer Internships in Biomechanics and Research Computing at Brown University
Several NSF-funded Summer Internships are available for Computer Science students to collaborate with faculty from the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and computing staff from Brown's Center for Computation and Visualization on the development of various tools for data exploration, visualization, and high-performance computing related to the development of XROMM. Interns will gain experience with interdisciplinary work in a research computing environment. Experience with any of the following may be useful but is not required: Python, JavaScript, HTML5, PHP, parallel processing, OpenGL, WebGL, CUDA or OpenCL. To apply, contact Professor Brainerd.
